The Blannie Bet Massey Morris Foundation, Inc. staff currently includes a part-time Managing
Director, a part-time Administrative Assistant and a retired Nurse. A contracted
Accountant provides bookkeeping services. Staff biographies follow.

The Blannie Bet Massey Morris Foundation, Inc will be a rural client-oriented , financially sound non-profit organization providing the highest quality of comprehensive services to without regards to color , religion, sex, will provides resources to aid with educational, spiritual, human expenses to promote healthier lifestyles. The foundation provides opportunities and resources to make a positive impact in the lives of residents who lives in and around the area.

Carolyn Malone Part-time, Managing Director

Carolyn became Managing Director in July 2000. Prior to joining the Foundation she was an Army Nurse. Carolyn serves as a family Nurse Practitioner, working with clients to manage chronic but stable conditions such as hypertension, depression, diabetes, cancer, obesity and arthritis. Carolyn has a BSN from North Carolina Central University at Durham and an MSN from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.


Stella M. Johnson Part-time, Administrative Assistant

Stella joined the Foundation in July 2001 after retiring from Bank of America. Stella received her BA from Johnson C. Smith University, where she began her work as a motivational speaker to churches in rural communities at a very young age. Stella provides organizational continuity and also serves as historian.


Joyce Spears Walden Accountant

Joyce was born in Harnett County, North Carolina and moved to New York in 1978. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from City College in New York with a concentration in Business Administration. Ms. Walden has an extensive banking background, with over 18 years experience in banking products and services. She is currently an Executive Assistant for a major nonprofit organization for individuals who are deaf and hard of hearing. In this position she also serves as Volunteer Coordinator, Public Education Assistant and Fundraising Associate. In her capacity as Fundraising Associate, Joyce is instrumental in the organization's fundraising efforts with private and foundation grants, as well as special events, direct mail and endowment campaigns.

Ruth Jones Nurse

Ruth is a retired Veterans Administration Hospital Hospice Nurse with more than 30 years of nursing experience. Ruth received her BSN from Norfolk State University, Virginia.
