Educational Mission
The Foundation provides donations and grants to educational
institutions for the purpose of purchasing school supplies
and technology equipment for needy students who cannot
otherwise afford these items.
The Foundation also provides donations and grants to students and/or
educational institutions for the improvement of academic programs.
These grants will be focused on improving the overall academic
performance of disadvantaged youth in rural communities.
Humanitarian and Spiritual Mission
The Foundation gives aid to the terminally ill and their families,
particularly those residing in rural communities
where alternate resources may be limited.
The Foundation will help the family of a terminally ill patient to arrange and
pay for hospice care near the end of the patient's life. The Foundation will provide
financial support to the patient to help offset medical expenses
and personal financial hardships created as a result of the patient's terminal condition.
Foundation members are encouraged and expected to visit hospitals,
nursing homes, and the residences of the sick, and to keep the sick
continuously in their prayers.
General Services
The Foundation will pay the full cost of a prescription for 90 days or until a needy patient can become enrolled
in a medical program that will take over the cost. These prescriptions are
typically for high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, blood clotting disorders
and cardiac conditions.
The Foundation pays the cost for one month of home health care for needy patients, allowing the patients time to
get through the "red tape" of being placed in the social system of
their county without sacrificing their medical care in the interim.
